Coleman Morehead
I'm a senior at St. Andrew's in Austin, Texas, and if you're reading this, I'm applying to your school. 2019 is my second year as Editor in Chief of my school's newspaper, the Highlander Herald. I'm also am one of the Yearbook Editors at my school, who oversee the page design and other aspects of the creation of our school's yearbook.
The Highlander Herald

The Highlander Herald was founded in 2016 by students of the Publications/Digital Media class. Originally named the Cru Chronicle, the Highlander Herald was renamed in 2018 when our school's mascot was switched from the Crusaders to the Highlanders. Today, the Herald is apart of Shield Media, the umbrella company for the Highlander Herald and my school's yearbook, The Shield. In 2019, my final year at St. Andrew's, I wanted to leave my mark on this school by overhauling the Highlander Herald into the publication it should be. We're expanding into new areas content, setting the bar as high as possible along the way. This fall, I've completely redesigned our website, logo, and mocked up a made a marketing strategy to guide my publication through its rebrand.
